Slow Cook Chinese Style BBQ Pulled Pork

This needs to rest for 2 hours ideally

You will need:

2 garlic cloves chopped

1 tbsp chopped fresh ginger

2 tbsp honey

2 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp sweet wine wine

1 tsp sesame oil

1 tsp chinese five spice

900g rolled pork shoulder, boneless

Rice


To make this:

Put the garlic, ginger, honey, soy sauce, wine and 5 spice in a large bowl and stir to mix

Add the pork and stir to coat

Cover and rest for 2 hours minimum


Place the pork in the slow cooker with the juices and marinade for 9-10mhours on low

Once finished, pull the pork apart with two forks and serve with rice
